Thread: SWMT (56k warning)

Interceptor isn't really a hybrid, it's just the same vehicle with less guns and a bigger engine.

Not arguing the point, just saying.

I see many variations on the struts there. Especially in the tank (which has even thicker struts than SWMT's variant), and in that last TIE variant. You have no argument.

I have the LEGO TIE Fighter. It has since been parted out to help me build units from Battlezone.

I have a Lego Tie Interceptor, sadly, after years of moving, I lost many parts to it and its just plain out broken.

All their struts are no where near as thick. You need your eyes checked.

UVWs need tweaking still, notably on the side.

But that's not all we've been working on, either...
Expect a reimagining of one of the maps of the Halo saga, Star Wars-style.
This isn't a simple mod of a pre-existing map, no. Every vertex, polygon, and edge will be modeled from the ground up.
What map it will be will remain a mystery...

Look again. Definitely fatter. Now, if you had said the struts on the tank were just flat out wrong, I'd be agreeing with you, because they are. However, they are certainly not thicker. The shape of them on the tank are inherently thicker than the ones in Jay's model. L2 spatial awareness.

That pic you showed was of a TIE Mauler, here is the TIE Crawler, what it looks like Jay was going for.

    And the Schematics:

Aside from a minor difference where the pylons meet the treads, it looks pretty OK to me...
