Keeping still shouldn't be an issue as long as you shoot it with natural light. Artificial light, though it may appear bright, is (as you should know) flickering on and off 50/60 times a second (depending on where you live, obviously), so to get a decent shot indoors at a "clean" ISO, you'd need to shoot at 1/15th-1/30th (or slower), meaning blurred shots. So if you don't want to take your snake outside, put it on a windowsill or something.![]()
