MC would never stand in a field of flowers, looking at some random person holding a teddy bear. I cant remember that occuring anywhere in the storyline, or anything remotely close.

This is what I didnt want to happen.

The Spartan you see in that poster is the woman that was holding the gun at the girl in the wheelchair.

I understand these are to explains bits of Halo we havent seen. But they need to be realistic encounters that follow the story, not reinvent it.

...What is there to be explained about a field of flowers? It's THERE. Is the Halo universe not allowed to have flowers or something? Has there been some material that I've missed that said "oh yes by the way there are no flowers on any planets anywhere they are all gone"?

I really, REALLY do not see how adding a story about a Spartan completely independent of the MC and completely independent of the games is "reinventing" the storyline.

They exist when you go outside.
Or at least outside your comfort zone.

Thats not what Halo is about, survival, its gritty, horrific and desperate, anime will never be able to portray that.

Have you watched DeadSpace Downfall? They did a hell of a good job with the horrific, desperate, survival scenes.

Also, TeeKup, the closest Halo has come to Gundam is the Scorpion Tank...I swear it looks like one of the tanks that Gundam Wing used at one point as Red Shirt units.
