    Night-Vision effect.

    So I've been toying around with an idea to do night-vision for a while. I looked around in the sniper.weapon_hud_interface and saw that it was as simple as "connect to flashlight" so I just set that, and turned off "only when zoomed' but it still only works when zoomed

    Any ideas?

    I was trying to get it working for Gridlock so people can see somewhat better. You can change the tint and stuff. Also, night vision in a dark map is cool

    So you unchecked the mask flag's, night-vision flag's and desaturation flag's "only when zoomed" and the screen effect still doesn't render when you turn on your "flashlight"?

    basically.

    What Im thinking, is that you still need a scope mask. So maybe just put a blank bitmap or something.

    As far as I have been able to tell, night vision cannot be linked to the flashlight and appear when unzoomed. I've tried on multiple occasions.

    I remember me and you tried to get this to work a while ago, and you said you couldnt get it to work.
    I looked around in the shaders, just like frain did, did some testing, and couldn't get it to work either. If you can get this to work and show how you did it, ill give you a cookie.

    @limited
    wtf? Shouldn't look like that at all.. Should be green in the snipers zoom mask.
