Vista 64 = no

Hey guys , i recently came back from having to completely reformat after a series of unfortunate events , i installed everything , the problem i am having is that before i had vista on , i did not install the 64 bit ver , and now that i have CE does not seem to run atall , it gets stuck on the menu screen , but its not the menu really , the way of describing it is ..

It goes to the screen that says "Halo" on it , before the main menu comes up , and it stays on that , it has the menu running somewhere , i can hear the sounds of the menu going on when i move the mouse and stuff , but i cannot see it so i cannot do anything :/

Anyone know how to sort this shit?

Yeah -- try these in this order: (if one doesn't work... keep doing it AND the immediate next fix... and so on.)
1) Turn off Antialiasing in your driver...
2) Make sure you have the 1.09 Halo patch...
3) Disable desktop composition...
4) Disable visual themes

You can't play with 1.08-ers. (If you're using CE) So there's like only 1 or 2 given servers/people online at a time until he decides to make it a required patch.

Everything is running perfect even without the 1.09 patch and without other fiddling.
