Is there a way to do it other than...
- DDisable_INTEGRITY_CHECKS,
- gpedit.msc (Home Premium doesn't seem to have this anyway),
- Test mode,
- F8 method?

The first one didn't work, the second brings up a watermark, and F8 will get old fast.

Don't know of other ways myself, sorry. I was faced with that problem when deciding between my old usb xbox controller and a 360 controller

I use a combination of test mode and fake driver signing when I want to use my original Xbox controller with Windows 7.

i got a driver for both, lemme know if you want the old ctrller driver, it worked fine as well.

Oh i'm fine with the x360 controller now. The old controller went to the other pc that still runs XP. Thanks though

My winrar trial ran out today, meaning I've already had it for 40 days.
Not a huge difference but it's definitely got a faster boot/shut down speed and has never chugged on me once like it did with Vista.
Only thing I don't have a driver for so far is my speakers, so my bass doesn't work yet :C

^Get 7zip. I'm gonna move to Windows 7 when I have the money. So far everyone has told me it's better than Vista.

I'm having a bitch of a time getting wifi to work on this...

Right now it "works", but only when I have the ethernet plugged in...as soon as I unplug the ethernet my wifi goes.

If you're upgrading to Win7 make sure that drivers are available for all of your hardware first.
