Today sees the dawning of my new side project for my ever growing portfolio , for those who share a love for EA`s Dead Space like i do , this ones for you.
When i originally played Dead Space , i remember being scared to hell and back , it was a none stop scare-fest all the way till the end of the game , i enjoyed everything about it , the art work , the universe , the story , everything.
This is why i decided to start the "Planet Cracker" project , originally i was hoping to make Planet Cracker into another "Lets play" series , where i would record myself like my original series but playing the game through on insane and only with a Plasma Cutter , sadly that never came to pass , so now the name has been passed onto something alot better.
Mission Statement (What i hope to do)
By the end of this project i wish to have a very well done replica of some of the areas from the USG Ishimura connected via halls with ducts and various other neat parts , so that it can be used as a playable level in "Tripwires" "Killing Floor" which was a UT2004 modification until it got made into a proper game.
So far i have worked on porting the textures from the game , as you cannot rip models effectively on the computer i am using , and ripping would also defeat the point in which i am doing this , to make an accurate replica from the ground up using only ripped textures , the main task for me so far was to get the shop working and looking right in Killing Floor which turned out really good as you can see here ...
