Wait, how could you tolerate Higurashi's voices if you thought Eva's were annoying? I mean, they both have good voice acting imo, but Higurashi's voices are way more annoying. Hell, the majority of the main characters are either moeblobs or lolis. Not much more annoying you can get than that.

Might check out Darker than Black. Higurashi doesn't look like my cup of tea. I am just really hungering for some good quality anime lately :/

Higurashi is amazing after you get passed how shitty the first 2 episodes make it seem. I mean, come on, killer lolis.

Edit: Oh, and watch Black Lagoon. (not that I haven't already said that like 4 times this thread...)
