Halo: Out With a Whimper

Apparently some guys have been working on a 2D sidescrolling Halo game called "Out With a Whimper." I'm not sure of all the details, but after five seconds of play I know there's multiplayer, character customization similar to Halo 3, and Marathon-style terminals.

Don't have an opinion on it yet, as I have not yet played it. It looks promising though. Real retro, which I dig.

Also I fucked up the title. lol.

Depends if you're into games like Cortex Command. It plays like a mix of that and Soldat. No terrain deformation, though.

I liked it. It was kind of short, but the weapons stay pretty true to their halo counterparts, and some of the mechanics are the same.

I still don't know if I have to "log in" to access multilayer, or if that's even an available option yet.

E: Appears as if there's no multiplayer at this time but I'd imagine it's in the works.
