    Smile Dead Space 2

I know this is relatively old, but I just found out.
I'm pretty excited about this and hopefully it will live up to the same standards as the first one did.

I fell in love with Dead Space when Teekup brought it to my house during a christmas visit last year. We played it in the dark and I've never jumped from fright so many times in my life.

So everybody post what you think will/should be in this sequel.

Personally, I'd like a video or some kind of visual telling a brief story of the original black marker.

    Should be in Tech Talk.

I want it to remain cryptic. In my experience, cryptic stories have been some of the most engaging in any medium. Look at the first Halo: it's story spawned massive fan support, and all the obvious plot lines that came out have been poo-poo'd by a large portion of the community since then.
Another good example is the seinen manga BLAME!,which also has a dedicated following.

That being said, it takes just as much effort to make a good cryptic story as it does to make a good obvious one. You need only look at Mass Effect 2 for proof of that.

I'm hoping the story is well-written, and as good if not better as the first. I heard the game is set on a moon of saturn (or jupiter, forgot), and is pretty much a city full with shopping malls and recreation centers. Also heard that you'll be able to "strategically dismember your friends". Sounds like a versus mode to me. I'm also hoping for a co-op campaign mode. I'd give the source but I'm too lazy atm.

Allegedly reported, it supposed to take place on "Sprawl", a space station built on the moon you suggested. There will also be an online mode

I watched the whole VGA's to see if they had a Deadspace 2 trailer...I was dissapointed. .

Why are people worried about the multiplayer feature being included? If you don't like it, then don't play multiplayer.

Dead Space deserved a sequel. Probably one of the most suprising hits I've seen in awhile, such a great fucking game and seriously scary if you have a nice screen, dark room and excellent speakers.

When I first saw the trailer I was like whatever another generic zombie game but you have to play it to understand.

Those pictures from the Magazine look amazing. I cant' wait for this game, and i'll be playing it the same way i did last time, all in one sitting, at night and with the surround sound on.
