    Last minutes of 2009

The ends in sight, we've almost finished 2009 and just about to begin a new decade.

it's been a crazy year with up's and downs and big announcements and even better gaming and on behalf of myself and everyone else on the site id like to give my thanks.

We've made this community a crazy place to hang and chill out with friends and mates while moving forward with art, music and modeling while we've grown and branched off to other games such as crysis, TF2, L4D, UT3.

My only hope is that we continue this, and have a fucking good time again next year.

    Happy new year.

    Re: last minutes of 2009

Pffft, we all know this site will be dead by the end of the year.

Still though, I feel somewhat proud to be one of the few people in our civilizations history that was born in the 1000's and died in the 2000's.

What I foresee in the next decade, is a new dark age. The decade the shit fell apart. Movies will be made in the 30's and onwards about how fucking shit the 10's were.

Well, that's my hope. Things need chaos, cages need to be rattled, for any REAL change to happen.

But at least we will finally achieve the dream, of fully realistic real to life graphics in video games.

But what then? Will they get better, or worse? Have all the good ideas come and gone?

Is music going to have to reinvent itself? And recycle back through the genres like some sort of time loop? Are all movies going to just be remakes upon remakes of the old classics?

Things have to be put to rest, and this is the decade for it. We need something new. I may be a defeatist about it, but I look forward and step onwards with pride and optimism.

Hopes that new music and ideas, new creativity, new amazing inventions and awesome things for the benefit of us all. Life without fear and bullshit on the news, life that doesn't reflect games like Half Life or Fallout.

Here ends the first decade, of the 2000. Really awesome thought that for 1000 years, a 2 will be put on each day, for each of those years, and this, was the first 10. In the 90's people will be talking about the fucking gipsies of the 60's all over again.

The world will have a fallout and a revolution, new countries will be formed, new allegiances, new prejudices, and then hierarchical society will reform itself with corruption and greed, and create the same loop, until we figure out that our ascent to godhood is a bullshit one.

I...actually agree with a considerable amount of that Dane. Shit needs to be stirred up if we expect a higher standard of living for ourselves and our children.

That said, Happy (not yet) New Year everyone. I'm off to work for a few hours, then party time. ACTUAL New Years celebration will come in...14 hours 47 minutes
