It's fine for surfing and gaming. Heavy downloading requires prioritisation though (but now I have 10 gb onpeak and unlimited offpeak so it's a non-issue )

You'd be surprised (I had 512 kb/s (more like 200) and 12 gb cap and ate that in <1 month a few times).

Last month I was capped from the 16th until the end of the month on a 512k connection with 30gb on peak and 30 off peak.

That's about normal for me (fuck you, youtube)
