Well, that was an excellent showcase of some of the least-ergonomic, terribly redundant, and ultimately useless technology I've ever seen. I can't understand why there's this obsession with "slim, white, and touch-based" technology, when more money still needs to be spent developing massive self-sustaining technologies.
Not that I don't praise the idea of some of this stuff, such as cultural interaction. But really, you do not need a gigantic smart-screen to do it. A lot of that stuff just isn't worth the cost.
I agree, for the most part.
I like glass technology, but I hate touch technology (which seems to contradicts since they're usually seen going hand in hand). On the other hand I'd like a neural interface in the future, it would compliment the glass if the info can't be send to your brain directly. Glass is relatively light compared to LCD and Plasma screens.
Zoey and Louis look great, but Francis and Bill don't fit their role. I wonder if this was made by those people who did those HL2 live action vids?
Only one who didn't fit was Francis, Bill Zoey and the Negro were fine I thought. Francis just needs to shave his head to look the part better.
And the guy playing Louis better not be saying "Pills here," he better be saying "PEELS HEER"
That was a really bad trailer. Nothing interesting about it. Even something simple like overhead shots, or searchlights on a barren city would have spiced it up, but this was just lame. An interesting idea, and I'm hoping for a better trailer in the future.
