When I go to run Halo 2 Vista on my computer, it gives me this error:
I looked up how to use it, but found no real help.
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I tried running as an administrator, in compatibility mode with Windows vista Service Pack 2, and it still didn't work. I installed it before I installed the new version of Windows Live, so that might be it.
And it turned out that my friend just got his to work, but he has 32 bit windows 7. I wonder if it has any difference.
It does work with Win7 x64, but usually it's just getting it to install that's a bitch.
Did you install GFWL from the site or the DVD? The DVD's version is beyond outdated.
I downloaded it from the site. Once my friend is done playing i'll grab the disc and do another install, because it's seeming to work for him.
E: Figured it out finally, had to screw with stuff in my system32 folder
