Jesus that race caused so much of a fucking stir. It really is the greatest or most upsetting thing ever to win or lose by a hundredth of a second but that's just how it works in swimming (running, too).
Also sucks if in the Olympics before, you were doing great but then water got into your suit so you finish last ^.^
I pity him, but Phelps' stroke is Butterfly and he deserved that win.
Edit: Can't forget our other American losing the Bronze by 0.01 seconds as well, ha.
