This. Death come so easily in those games, I can only imagine that vehicles would be impossible to balance. Is it possible to shoot down helicopters and planes brought in by kill-streaks? Yes. But put human operators behind their movements and targeting, and it could be a total suppression machine that would cause nothing but frustration.

Unfortunately, Bad Company seems to be getting more like Call of Duty. Compared to the first game, the new one is so much more restrictive. It has regenerating health, very linear levels, and no radio (this is very important! ). Also, the tools are gone.

Because Bad Company was, at first, a console-only game (seriously what a stupid fucking idea) so they had to get rid of things to make it appeal to console fags.
Then PC gamers complained, so BC2 came to PC but it's still really a console experience.

Bawww just play your halo reach. That's how companys will work, what ever can bring in the most players money while throwing out map packs that cost $10 then they are good. Well to them not us. Point is if you do something for console people PC people will bitch and want it. So you choose how to spend your money.

Yeah, supply and demand. Just like there is a community's worth of more-so hardcore gamers like us who view this as saturation, there is just as much casual who just play games after they get home from a shitty day, a shitty job, or a shitty life and will play the next new thing that's out because it's new and a distraction. I do, and I'm familiar with the AC130. But that's just targeting as a kill-streak bonus. The plane flies around in a set path. This is about adding full control of vehicles that can be accessed whenever ready.
