    first image is photoshop

    last two=me fucking with painter 9.5.
    I love the trad effect that painter makes and how it encourages me to analyze the subject like i'm painting
    with something easy to smear like oil paint. Can't wait to get really comfy with it so I can cover an illu instead of just studies.

    I haven't really played around much with CS5's tools, but they've got brush pressure and drag simulation that looks pretty nice. Also color blending.

    Then, I don't care much about that stuff. I'm more of a hard-lines-and-solid-colors cartoonist type.
