What exception? Taking a wild guess here but could it be you have a init.txt in your Custom Edition folder? If so...just rename it to something like initb.txt

I can't find the init.txt in my halo CE folder,

The last thing I installed was a v1.09 patch

I get it right before the resolution changes.
