srsly though, its not like it matters. iv never done anything worth anything on this site and i had 3 glowies. anybody who frequents this site (and doesnt post in debate forums) had a bunch of glowies. it meant absolutely nothing, and all anybody used it for was +repping for funny posts and flaming other users without the risk of infraction. so yeah, see ya rep system. wont miss you.

The only positive effect of the rep system was that it enabled members to show other (probably newer) members that we don't look kindly on certain posting habits, without derailing a thread by posting about it, or waiting for a moderator to deal with it. I honestly believe that negative rep was the sole teacher of grammar for many of this site's members.
