Japanese doesn't have the crazy inflections on all the words. You change the inflection on a word in Chinese, you change its meaning entirely. Not so for Japanese.

You believe that possession of less than 1 gram should be punishable by up to five years imprisonment? For a "crime" that does no real harm to anyone? That's not right.

They don't actually put people in prison for five years for a gram... It's a MAXIMUM, a limit, not a minimum... That's not an injustice unless the minimum was a ridiculous amount of time.
