No, someone who just ripped off his idea. I'll never play that because of it's just a copy.
It actually looks infinitely better than Minecraft. Aside from just looking way better, you can also go into flycam to place blocks much easier. It's not focused solely on mining, but rather building.
Notch lost his chance when he decided to slack off like a lazy fuck and not improve his game or make it multi-platform. After its initial success, he could have hired a team of people and gotten several millions of dollars from investors to start a studio, but he didn't. He's a goddamn fucking idiot as far as I see him.
The shitty graphics are part of Minecraft's appeal. You can fly around in Minecraft as well and place blocks, even in mid-air with the right mods.
Not everyone knows how to use the mods?
Drag and drop some files into the minecraft.jar using WinRAR, profit.
