If I had good internet, I'd totally play more Reach And yeah, I suppose I am an average gamer too.

I like Reach. I also like modding. Reach doesn't support modding (or rather, it's a pain doing mods, console only and all). Therefore, I partially hate Reach. But Reach is still a fun, meaty game. I didn't expect/want it to be like Halo1, 9 years later, I wanted it to be Reach. Why? Because I can do Halo1 any fucking day of the year, with mods, on my goddamn PC. I don't need to use XBL. I can host dedicated servers. Halo PC already has everything you need.

    welp

I spent about 10 hours yesterday playing Reach with some friends, do I really need to say anything else?

I'm playing it more thanks to my FF variant. Big Team Battle is the only playlist I venture into these days when I go online.

I only play if I have a friend Kornman to play with otherwise I just play Score Attack.
When I do have friends playing I like playing Multi-Team for the assassination and MLG because everyone on there suck 95% of the time.

    I find Gruntpocalypse very relaxing.

Most things are more fun with friends. Even things that would otherwise be miserable (e.g. those LASO challenges) can be "fun" with a friend.

Reach is still quite fun without friends though.

I played Campaign and then tried Firefight a couple times and got bored with it immediately. Without Live it's just boring as hell. Real gamers don't pay for their ability to play online with friends.
