    Re: New Youtube thread!

Did anyone else think the commentators of that match were ridiculously annoying? Oh and did anyone else find that absolutely predictable? The guy had jackshit offensively for about the first half of the game with all of the resources. If anyone didn't think something big was going to show up from Blaze, then they definitely should have thought again or shut their mouths. *cough obnoxious commentator ccough*

I also need to look into StarCraft more, but I've stayed away because if it's anything like AoE2, I'll basically be a shut-in for a LONG time. And I mean, a LONG time.

Not everyone is as informed as you are. Why do you assume that they even know who FireToBlaze is? They would have mentioned something about him at the beginning of the match if they had any idea who he was. I just did a search on Google of FireToBlaze The only results that came up were of that same game of Jabada Vs. FireToBlaze.

And you need to go back to season 1 of When Cheese Fails to see the evolution of their casting. I'd say, that starting up the series degraded their ability to cast properly especially with the Cold Cast marathons destroying any hope of coherent starcraft II talk.

Still makes for awesome times, though. I pretty much only watch SCII casts from these guys because they are entertaining while still being interesting.

Uh, both of the player's names are in the video. I was just referencing the person who would win. I wasn't informed, it was pretty obvious because the Zerg user had so many resources at his disposal, did little with those resources, and so many queen areas that something would turn the battle around (ultralisks), even though Jabada had taken his time using units. Playing AoE2 and even Halo Wars has taught me that alone; even when you bide your time and rush your enemy with a load of Siege Onagars/Samurai Locusts/Hunters against a base that's not well defended, then you should know something's up. I guess I did sound a little pompous though. My bad. Didn't mean to come off like I knew everything.

Here's a great post by Korn:
It's much more fun to do an early battle, but not an early war winner. To paraphrase Masters, you attack the enemy early so that they're then always one step behind you for the rest of the game (unless you slack off, letting them catch up). Shaking the hive nest, if you will.
Basically, Blaze messed with Jubada by throwing some of his weaker guys in his path and baiting him away from the real threat, the ultralisk area north of his home base.

Shit, I'm sorry. I read your previous post twice, but I dunno if my brain was too sleep deprived to see what you were really saying before I posted. I now realize that you meant that it was easy to see that Blaze was working on some plan since he had so many damn resources. Still, he played like shit for the first 3/4 of the game so it was hard to see it coming lol. So basically just disregard the entire first paragraph of my previous post.

    EDIT:

lol this is Jeff, otherwise known as Maximus Black dishing out some Lonely Island in Montreal:
