I'm going to abuse THE SHIT out of this gun.
Jets
Keyboard + Mouse
Mouse is utterly crap, way too slow, if I increase sensitivity then I cannot aim my guns without spazzing out.
Keyboard + Arrow Keys
More managable, its what I used in the video I posted.
Xbox 360 Controller
Takes a while to get used to, but its what I will use in the retail for helicopter and jets - Note there is no hat-switch, I tried all buttons and nothing. Also LB is shoot weapon.
Can someone explain Back to Kirkland, is it DLC, pre-order only, do I have to buy LE?
^ Those controls seem really irritating. I don't know why they just don't map the rudders to the bumpers, acceleration and braking to the triggers, missiles to the B button and the Gun to the A button. That is by far the most ergonomic scheme.
LOL Back to Kirkland? Jesus the names I see. It's called Back to Karkand. All pre-orders from official sources get it. All Limited Editions get it as well. I bought from an unofficial source that has ordered physical copies of the Limited Edition. Those will get it, too.
Hey I've only seen it written down once, so excuse me for reading it and then typing it 10 minutes later whilst trying to guess what I read without bothering to Google it to make sure I don't look foolish in a forum post..!
Some of the buttons do make zero sense, X didnt seem to do anything, unless it was reload and I didnt realise. The reason LB is used is so you can use your thumbs to constantly fly and aim the jet and then your index finger can fire.
And damn that guy can snipe, I bet all his enemies thought he was aimbotting.
Did that all the time when I got shot down and had a lock-on launcher with me.
Only works when the guy behind you is terrible, I tried it a couple times but usually just got destroyed.
Whoa what? Mouse is way to slow? It's like 100% faster than using the arrow keys to turn... Arrow keys have a fixed speed, mouse is limited to what the aircraft can do.
Just wow.
