Looks absolutely amazing, but it's still too bright and shiny on the dark horror levels... I don't know if I should get the game or not. I'd buy it for the campaign and play it with some of the friends that have never experienced Halo before.

Yeah, they should have put in a switch to turn off turret overheating for HA10. H1 turrets had impervious barrels!

Part of the Halo multiplayer experience was drawing crude phalluses into the cliffside of blood gulch with the turret before you hit the decal limit and the bullet holes disappeared.
In Reach...where the new MP maps/"experience" will be...and warthogs...and war...so yes, turrets overheat.
Blame MS for calling the new reach maps Halo Anniversary as well

No, no, Microsoft just likes to blur lines as usual and isn't differentiating between the actual HA10 maps and the Halo 1 maps ported to Reach.
Wait, wut... The turrets dont overheat in the campaign which is the same engine as the original, and they do in the multiplayer maps which run on the Reach engine. :P I don't understand the confusion here...
