Origin IS pretty terrible in that regard. It's there as an "anti-piracy, anti-cheating, and support/feedback gathering tool" according to the ToS.

I'm not happy with it, but so long as you're not doing anything else while Origin is running you're pretty safe.

Origin can and does scan anything running on your system. The same with EA/BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic, it scans all running processes and if it detects anything that could be considered cheating (including recording software like Fraps for beta testers) it will report you to EA (testers can/will/have lost their testing abilities). SW: TOR will also be on Origin.

Ah so I'm not the only one who has retarded movement(lag) with jets and choppers.
EA should definitely fix this.

Btw: is it possible to use a 360 controller for jets and heli's?

So, because all the try-hards are now playing BF3, I just had the most glorious day of playing Bad Company 2 I've ever had.

LOL same here, I just went back to BC2 for a while and ended up scoring much better than I normally do.

The aircraft in BF3 are still easier to pilot, though. Just spend some time on an empty Caspian Border server and get a feel of the controls, then start a real game. I died 14 times in the FA-18 while practicing on an empty server, but afterwards I was able to swoop close to the ground and pull up again without crashing.

I wish they'd give us back the old BF2 single player which was literally just 16 player MP with 15 AI bots. That was really good for practicing with the vehicles.

also tried out a bit of the co-op for once, and it feels a lot like MW2 spec ops.
