Oh when is freelancer going to learn that he sucks at flying under highway signs?
You know what I miss most in Battlefield? Legitimate artillery strikes and air drops.
Guided missiles. The fuck do they work.
Also I'm not too sure I agree with giving both attackers and defenders jets in rush. All in all it just turns into the same stalemate dogfighting. Why not give the defenders 2-3 AA lav's or something.
I also found out that on the console, the tunguska is the ONLY AA APC to appear in multiplayer so far and thats on Rush on Nashahr Canals. I find this extremely stupid.

I like how utterly useless jets seem to be in BF3. They exist solely for the purpose of killing other jets. Helicopters are the only ones really threatening ground targets, and while they circle that one spot, everyone is capping the other three or four control points.
Oh, and armour is also threatened by infantry. Basically, if you are driving tank, you're fucked. At least you can hide from aerial attacks as infantry.
A minor complaint I have with jets is that for new players, they're far too weak, having no flares or AAMs at all.
It's already enough effort to figure out how to fly the damn thing without crashing shortly after takeoff. Then after you finally master movement, you're still basically powerless against missile locks. The machine gun is only good against other aircraft, as you move way too quickly to get a good shot on infantry or even ground vehicles.
Flares at the very least should have been made available from the start.
I honestly think this is one of the things DICE is going to include in the first patch for the game.
It targets Adobe/Autodesk activation as well.
