wow that article. as ridiculous as that is (and i dont mean to revive that origin argument), i wouldnt mind if EA removed the origin requirement for BF3 over that. im sure they wont, but id be much more inclined to buy it if they did.

Yes, I had that with one of my friends but he lives at the other side of the world (Australia) and his antivirus/firewall was blocking the game at first.
But we got it working, however I lost my connection because his game crashed and for no reason a few times.
Nothing to bad thou, we where able to play a few missions.
and mw 2 was much worse with co-op, it took me over 40 tries to connect with him in that game.
Just tried a 24 player Caspian Border server.
With such a low player count, you can really feel the compromise. Sure, the map size and features auto-adjust accordingly to compensate, but the effect on the team of some jackass taking off alone in the heli is much greater when you have only 11 teammates as opposed to 31.
