It really is only for dark close combat areas now. I like the nerf.

ok so the game runs like complete shit for me, actually seems to be getting worse with every patch.

my specs are and admittedly the proc is old and a bottleneck, and the video card is mid-lowrange-ish, the game should surely run somewhat decent on all low yes?

i tried all low at several different resolutiions and it runs like ass with models disappearing and snapping and other bullshit glitches that make the game unplayable for the most part.

im using the latest drivers for the video card, i disabled avg and that seemed to make a tiny improvement, but what the fuck is up here? is my comp just not up to par at all?

Its your cpu for sure, my 2nd pc with a q6600 at 3.4ghz and a ati 4670 runs it fine on low.(bottlenecked by gpu)

How the hell does the game even work with that processor? I had a similar proc (2.6 ghz) and the same video card (still have it) and had all sorts of random-ass crap happening in Crysis 2. Got a new processor - everything fixed.
So yeah.

Quick question, what are/were your average FPS's (everyone, also post in-game settings)?

I'm about to buy this game but I'm unsure whether should I buy a new video card first or buy the game now and the video card later...

Also, dx10 requirement? lolol. Consoles have dx9.

Err I have a AMD Turion II P520 Dual Core 2.3 GHz and it runs at absolute minimum 20 FPS but generally averages 30. Dont get many jitters either. Sure its a low fps but its playable.
