There were a million tanks on the original. Two for the MEC and one for USMC, I think it was. You'd kill one and lo and behold, another would take its place.

played wake island and gulf of oman, so far im not impressed.

I've played Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. So far I'm very impressed. The amount of action going on everywhere​ is reminiscent of BF2 maps. I had a lot of holy shit moments in Gulf of Oman and I only played on that map for like 20 minutes.

Yeah. I was pretty damn concerned about them removing the dusty haze from Strike at Karkand. That's the only thing that kept you from getting sniped across the map in BF2 and BF2142 (snowy haze). After looking at the huge visual revamps of the maps in-game, I feel like I need to relearn all the locations. Gulf of Oman I knew very well from BF2 and half the time I was playing I had no clue where I was and I kept getting raped. That used to happen with me on core maps at launch, though. I just need to get used to them, I think. I think I'll stick with unlocking assignments on core maps until I get the hang of the new maps.

Ok problem

So I bought the expansion off of origin, and updated to the latest patch. But when ever I try to join a " Back to karkand " Map,
I keep getting a pop up telling me I dont have it and I need to buy it, and then it leads me to a purchase page.

So now I'm like WTF? and ideas??

The Battlelog's mainpage says you have it though? Keep trying. I played no problem this afternoon and then some 5 hours ago I tried to join on a friend into Strike at Karkand and I kept crashing and getting kicked and random shit like that. One message even told me: Required Files Missing. Hell, even if I didn't own Back to Karkand already, the files sure as hell aren't missing. They were downloaded in the patch last week. I did eventually manage to get back into the server...and then it ended when I spawned. Fucking gay. At least I spawned on the winning team. Hurrah for free wins!
