Also, he was playing on Normal mode, where your health regenerates. I'd like to see that stunt on Hardcore.

The golden rule of any shooter dictates to pay attention to your surrounding. If I was in that group I would have kept staring at that stair case while the rest of the lemmings stare at the goddamn wall. I.E. I'm celebrating the punishment of the stupid.

Lesson: Idiots get what they deserved and the player gets a juicy points bonus.

True, but I'm talking about the earlier segments, which actually would have caused him to die had it not been for regenerating health.

Better solution on Metro is to patrol the bottom part of the stairs. You can effectively camp both the bottom of the clusterfuck-stairs and escalators and cover your teams back as a Support class. Having one person do this is actually REALLY helpful.

Teekup, they had very obviously just spawned. You can't expect everyone to spawn and immediately spin 360 degrees in case someone comes up behind them.

I'm sorry but no they didn't. 2-3 people may have just respawned in that group but not everyone. That's no where near a designated spawning area to being with. Even when spawning on a team mate in that area it's not that hard to discern your bearings and what you should do.

I.E. look immediately at the escalators and expect some asshole to do what this player just did. I've been on both ends. Console, and PC on a friends profile.

Then give me another reason why a shitload of people would be standing still out in the open staring at a wall?

Either way, I didn't see anything impressive about that video.

Because on that map you need to push around either side of the wall on the top of the escalators, the defenders and/or whoever owns that point usually has both sides on lock-down so it's pretty much impossible to get around that wall. People bottle-up like that ALL THE TIME.
