just tried to play doom for the first time in ages, but all my textures are screwed up, i get like this weird anti colour thing over half hte shit on screen.

For StarCraft/Brood Wars I use ChaosLauncher. If your PC can't resize to a resolution of 640x480, you have to use that basically. To fix the StarCraft problem, though, you may want to go under the compatibility section and select a few boxes (640, desktop comp, 248, etc.). It may work for Doom too, but not entirely sure.

Sucks for you guys, I had some custom resolution launcher that actually ran the game at 5760x1200 extremely smoothly. The HUD elements were all centered as well. Could see clear across every single map and only had to move my view up and down a little.
