I do like those designs. I feel the weapon choosing needs a bit of work. I dont see DICE implementing it however, the reason we have the current design is because it 'works well' on consoles. If they were willing to have a separate one for PC then I think they would give it a shot.

That's the whole point. All the menus were designed for console after DICE clearly stated that the game was PC-focused. Shortly after release, they revealed that they lied to us. They owe this to us.

    They didn't lie to anyone.
They said it was focused on PC at the time and later on found the PS3 version was dragging so they shifted focus to that to bring up to the bar everything else was which is exactly what they're supposed to do.

They did lie. Now I don't disagree with them shifting focus to compensate, but to maintain the guise that it was built for the PC from the ground up and then for them to publicly acknowledge that it wasn't true after release? That is what I don't agree with. That was a slap to our faces. To have to use that clunky customization menu every single time I want to change something. I'll never forget it. Every second that I have to spend scrolling through that list is potentially another ticket gone down the drain.

weird... i was trying to put an m26 mass on a... i think it was an aek. it ended up being stand-alone even with the underslung rail. i remember reading that theres a certain weapon that can use the m26, but not the m320. i think it was the g3

Oh yeah, you're right it does only work for certain weapons. I tired for my AEK and ditched the m320/m26 altogether. Real men use bullets.

The ones I know for sure that can use the M26 are the M16, M416, and the G3. The M320 only works on the M16 and M416, I think. All bullpup weapons cannot mount the underslung rail either.

The game has only just been patched enough to make it fully playable, 6 months after release...
