They're failing at marketing the double exp weekend. If they don't make this recurring it will be completely useless.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure CoD has double EXP weekends at least once a month. Still I pre-ordered months before the game released and I still haven't unlocked all the guns and vehicle abilities, so it's a nice gesture. I've seen a lot of new players with the recent discounts on the game, too, so this helps get them up to speed without having to buy the unlock packs.

At first the rent a server thing on 360 was pretty cool but now every fucking server I join I either get kicked or banned just because I'm pissing off some piss ant admin who's probably like 12 and doesn't know how to not suck -_-. DICE should at least keep around a few more official servers

Not totally related, but EA just put Crysis 2 back on Steam in the form of a Maximum Edition (basically, they won't release any more DLC so there's no more "conflict with Valve's policies")

Thus, I think we might see BF3 on Steam (and possibly origin-free) at least sometime in the future. Possibly when they start on BF4 or BC3.

You are aware that javelins suck right?

But a trick is, if you use them, to mouse up right before you shoot. It adds to the power of it.

I'm an rpg/smaw only kinda man. Can use it for taking out tanks, helicopters, and even the occasional camping sniper from 600 feet away.

TDM is for Counter Strike fans!

I'll be honest and say I play my fair share of TDM, both for the fun element and to unlock attachments for guns that I wouldn't bother trying to use in Conquest.

I feel it rounds off the whole FPS experience nicely, it also gives a good break from vehicle warfare which can get a bit boring after doing it over and over.

Yeah. TDM is a good amount of fun. It's a great way to level up your guns quickly, too. Everyone has to admit that CoD is fun for a little while at least, but that's not what I'd cal TDM.
