Ever died out of nowhere and called bullshit/yelled at someone/ragequit in an FPS?
It's supposed to alleviate that by showing you how you died from a different perspective.
Besides the CoD argument, it also has the side effect of giving away a sniper's position (or any camper really), which in Halo kinda happens anyway with the gigantic muzzle flash and contrail, so that's probably why everyone's crying about it.
Don't get too damn excited. Remember when there was a H3 logo on some directx related thing, and it turned out to be microshaft derping out?

I was going to post that, but then I looked into it more and yeah it probably just means hard drive space and internet connection speeds, stuff like that.
Also I don't want the killcam because it'll feel too much like CoD. It'll ruin Halo's gameplay a bit because normally I love to watch my ragdoll body fly around and I get to observe everything going on around me. Now that's completely ruined and I can't see if the bastard took my rockets or sniper or something else.
It really does actually matter. I used the death cam for a lot of shit and now it's ruined because I'll have to watch some stupid fuck kill me. Lovely.
