    I doubt many here are fans of hardcore punk, but The Exploited are awesome. Each of their albums are excellently paced and all play into an overarching theme.

    Beat the Bastards was really cool. Crossover thrash is a really interesting genre, mostly because I find most of the Crossover bands to be superior to straight thrash bands like Flotsam and Jetsam or VioLance etc.

    Well, the bands you listed are pretty generic, crappy thrash bands, so no wonder a good band sounds better than them. Here's some REAL thrash.
