I must say, Halo 4's sounds are generally better than Reach's.

Also, a powerful laser would indeed flash-vaporize the moisture in the air, causing a detonation and thunderclap. Pretty much exactly what lightning does. Lasers should be going "cracKOW!" and not "pew!"

They kinda sound like generic Sci-Fi, and I can't really tell the difference between them . Oh well, at least the Assault Rifle sounds nice.
