Unreal Engine isn't meant to look realistic. Unreal Engine 3 and 4 are super beautiful, but they are surreal looking. More suited to fantasy than reality.
Looks like the end section of the first level in halo 3.
I have to say, that tech demo impressed me much more than Crysis 2 did. Looks like thy're finally using tessellation awesomely, instead of as a crappy patch later. And dat toad![]()
Even then, I don't consider mass amounts of bloom to make an engine's lighting look good. Which is about the only way Unreal shows off light.
