Wow, makes me want to move to the south island. The only real good thing about the north island is the beaches, South islands got Mountains, Snow and Fiordland D:

The biggest downside to the South Island are the straight roads, so bloody boring to get anywhere. Miss having to drive through a few gorges to get anywhere . And it is, damn that's an old photo!
