i think we're trying to simulate texas. hence "i wish i was(n't) in texas". not sure, but either way, its pretty effective.

Ah so you gave up on that idea then, realized the scale was beyond your reach.
It was only a matter of time.

Right, you realize "bangers and mash" is typically a cockney phrase, I'm not even slightly cockney, I rarely drink tea and I've got a well known history is being perfectly capable of grasping black humour.
Difference is using black humour isn't the same as literally mocking the death and suffering of people within days of the events happening.
But keep trying to grasp straws, one day you'll pass puberty and reach some sort of adulthood, with some hope you'll also become a bit more mature along with it.

Ah the age old strawmen of "you've not released anything so you haven't done anything".

I've worked on several projects actually, I was one of the first who found out how to create custom UI maps for Halo pc back in the day, worked with DECOY, Larry, Phenom and co on converting CE tags over to Halo pc mods, released several tags and models into the wild on Halomaps, helped several Cryengine groups to work on their projects.
I'm in the works with helping atleast two groups right now, I just don't bother to post about it on these forums because it's irrelevant and there's literally no point posting on Halomaps which is centered around Halo CE.

On the other hand, I've never seen either of you on Crydev actually doing anything, infact I've seen more from Zeph than you.
-We came to ask for help in knowledge in expertise on a project months ago (look at next point)

-the project has not been trashed, there is many ideas for it, it is only a matter of time and energy when it will be started fully and in what means. we did have lumoria to finish at the time, and we are people who actually finish things we start

    -go drink some more tea

-thats great you've worked on several projects, which ones have been completed? completing a project as opposed to leaving a half assed project in dust is alot more respectable then the latter. and just because we don't post things we have worked on in cryengine over on some forum does not mean we have not created anything or learned anything.

successful as in it was a success within the community itself, everyone knows it's name and im sure most people would agreed its a solid project. it was also a success to me personally by being a cumulative of previous halo map making knowledge and focusing it one project. alot was learned and that is valuable to me.

even though you are an asshole, i do agree that you are one of the more successful members of this website

by the way, *4 maps. with consistent and actually decent and recognizable gameplay. compared to most of the garbage posted on halomaps there is something to be said for projects like that, basically because there is next to none.

it doesn't matter SHIT what you've done, if you want to go that way, there's always a bigger fucking fish, and it's a stupid fucking argument to make, and you're a fucking tool for even going down that road.

Out of curiosity Neuro, what are those 5 AAA titles? Just curious.

@Higuy: You know I said Lumoria was awesome. The Writing was good too, until Episode 2. The Dialogue was terrible and the monologue at the end was even worse. Like, talk about cheesy and that's the result. It was really bad dude, not going to lie. The gameplay was good and fun. It was a technical accomplishment given the engine. Successful? Yes. However, it's only something to brag about in the community and in the context of Halo Custom Edition successes. It's not on a next-gen engine and only goes so far to talk about your capacity as a digital artist. I know this because I'm facing the same realization. I can do most everything outside of animation that could be done a decade ago. I'm very far behind and even with Lumoria's success so are you. The point I'm making is that you have accomplished a big project, so that experience is very good. However, that's all you got with it: as far as a portfolio visually, it's a decade old.

It wasn't an argument, it was a statement and fact. What ive done matters to me, and knowing that what I did with my time spent satisfied myself and others that experienced it is good enough for me.

    @darkhalo: Barbie Adventure Time pt2

Also, for a portfolio I don't plan on my focus at all on being art. Even though I did the art in it, that was not my focus. It's level design that was the main focus throughout the entire project, everything else was simply extra knowledge that we learned in creating something around that design.

Also, as long as we are on the contributions to our dead irrelevant community thing, I'm the easy target here. So don't even get on these people HiGuy. You're in like, the exactly wrong place for that.
