it's called "game of the year" edition.
Microsoft is far from the only publisher that does this.
Go to Walmart and look at how many game of the year editions there are for everything.
It's pretty much what took over the old platinum version edition, except this time they don't care about how many copies it sold since they just want to sell more. It's really annoying to see a goty edition for some shit game no one has ever heard of.
