Yeah, he and maybe a few others posted here after it was released. He couldn't really do anything though. The team was dismantled before the game shipped. The most he could do was find workarounds for a few minor issues.

They're probably still on the payroll. Microsoft's a big place and it's pretty common for internal single project teams to get lost in the system after release, unless the disbanding paperwork is filed through the proper channels. Most likely they're just keeping quiet.
