When I try to join a game from the main lobby I get a message saying that the server has closed as I can still see it there. I am able to join the dedicated servers already there but I can't seem to join those create by other players.

They closed the game, meaning the host doesn't want anymore players coming in. Or atleast that's how it worked on the Xbox version.

oh, lol so simple. I never got to play halo 2 online before.
In the old Halo it meant you cracked it...
