Also, this is a three-year-old game. And, they didn't 'revamp' the graphics - they made them more 'compatible' with high-res displays. Halo Xbox ran at 640x480, on 'medium' H2V graphics. Obviously, people are going to want to play it on higher quality than this, so they just upped the resolutions and enabled AA and AF.

Please stop trying to find someone to blame for something that rocks. If you want to let them know how you feel, email Hired Gun (or Bungie if you don't want to get a reply).

Welcome to the Internet, I guess.

PS: Question for Lightning - self-shadowing... I don't remember seeing that in the Xbox version, or am I wrong? Anyway, if that's what it's going to look like on medium, I can't wait to get my 8800 GTS in the mail.
Let me introduce you to a concept. Discourse and discussion, The free trading of ideas and opnions. Welcome to the internet indeed. It sounds like you want an orwellian society of bland praise and controlled thought. If you'd like that, please feel free to mosey over the the Gearbox company forums. They would be more than happy to silence any non-believers of their assorted products they have availalbe..

Like it or GTFO?? I have one better for you. Allow free discussion to occur with out crying that this isn't a fanboy run website or GTFO.

There are members and mods such as Ghost and Jcap who are fans of the series that have not hesitated to post their concerns about the game, and their frankness and refusal to be blind fanboys keep me coming back to the forum. /end rant.
