    LAN set-up

Has anyone yet tried or found a way to set up a LAN party of H2V using one disk? I'd hate for each person there to have to buy the game.

Maybe if you just make an image on each and use the same key. I know you can use the same key on at least 2 comps.

You can use the same key on other comps? That's for network only, I presume?

I let another person from this community use my key temporarily while it was delayed and it worked so it's possible. I don't know about LIVE.

You do not need to make an "image" you only need to use the disc once to install.

It's called "Tray and Play technology."

You put it in the tray, and play while it installs.

After you input your Product code, you never have to use the DVD again. Until you screw something up.

    Re: LAN set-up

Oh, and I will be testing this theory soon, I have a couple friends who want to Lan, and made a 20 gig partition just so we could install vista and play Halo 2. lol

I don't know when we all will get together, but hopefully it's soon. The network will be offline, and if my Product code get's banned, I'm just going to call MS and whine.

I hope it's not like other games (Halo 1 for example) where you couldn't even do lan, and even if you did you'd get your Product code banned.
