LAN?

i assume the "network browser" is the lan browser...

i am able to set up a lan with my bros pc on halo 1 no problem.... pops right up in the lan lobby.

in h2v, i start a network game on my bros pc, i load up h2v, open the network browser, and nothing...

is there some crazy special thing you have to do to start/join a lan game or what.


has anyone set up a lan yet?

Hmm I'm not sure what your problem is, but you both are using different cd keys right?

please tell me you remembered to set up a home network first. In vista, you can look at your network, and even see the other people sharing the same internet connection as u, but you cannot access their computer until you set up a home network that both of the computers belong to. once you have them "logged in" to the same network, you should see it on h2v.

Yeah go play some more CE, that might solve the problem

If you installed Windows Vista with all the default settings, you have to change your workgroup to MSHOME instead of WORKGROUP.

I think they blocked it just for that reason. :/
