Well you have his chipset already, look it up on the intel site.
Edit: Ok i checked the Intel site and it says that there should be an AGP 8x slot on your motherboard. If you open up your case it should be a brown coloured slot(most are) and be at the top of a set of white slots. Just go out and get yourself a nice Geforce 7600GT that is on the AGP interface. just plug it in, go into ur bios, disable the integrated graphics, and install the nVidia ForceWare drivers.

Yes, any graphics with the name "Intel" is complete and utter trash and should never, ever be used for high-end PC gaming. Even INTEGRATED chips from ATI and Nvidia own what Intel offers.
A Nvidia Geforce 7600 or a Radeon X1600 is my recommendation. You may notice stuff at the end like GS or GT (Nvidia) or XT or Pro (ATI). Those are simply differences in clock speeds, and won't matter that much, but GT is better than GS and XT is better than Pro.
Wow, it's quite unfortunate that your CPU and amount of RAM are pretty good, even today, although that CPU is no longer revolutionary, but the graphics make them look wasted. My friend once had a laptop with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ CPU but his video card was a Geforce 4 MX - what a waste!
Hmm, Newegg is expensive, i mean on Ebay it goes for about... 70, and it's my dad paying for it... so i cant ask for much, that is EVEN if he pays for it... OH and i have a new prob on my good comp (the one i Described) WHen i start it up it says "reboot and select a proper boot device or insert boot media in selected Boot device and press a key".
So i figured that my OS get erased some how, so i put in a Windows XP CD to get it back (because i got Vista from a friend of mine, so i did it just for a short period of time) So I try to install XP and when it asks me to press ENTER to install XP I do and it says....

I've made sure it's plugged in, but how can i run diagnostic stuff and all that if i cant get ON the computer
Check in your BIOS to see if it's connected. And mess around with the BIOS it could be some wrong setting.
How can i get into the BIOS? I can't get my computer onto windows...
Press F2 before the OS loads I think.
Then what? Can you give me somewhat step by step directions?
BIOS interfaces vary from one computer to another. I don't think I can give much help, but once you get into the BIOS itself, you'll be relying on your keyboard a lot (no mouse). Just press the keys corresponding to respective menus.
Hmm, I go into the Setup by pressing F2. But... after that, I dont see anything pertaining to BIOS about the harddrive or anything of that nature
I guess it isn't F2 then, on one computer it was F2 and on another computer it was F10 or something.
Go on google and search for how to enter the BIOS while entering the specific make of your mobo or your whole computer if it's store-bought.
