Anyway, like I said, I am wielding the polys together where they aren't needed. I'll post another wireframe soon, which will show the reduced poly count.
*sigh* Here we go again...another one of those people who completely lacks imagination, and decides to imitate another of bit bungie's work (not to mention intellectual property too). The pattern seems to go like this:
- Optimism
- Over-estimation of modeling skills and/or game engine
- Egotistic self-defence
- Attempt at accepting criticism, constructive or otherwise
- Insulting those who criticize their work
- Continued, lousy progress on a project that will never work
- Giving up
How about you just skip to step 7 and save everybody alot of trouble, especially on your part. This also includes wasted time.

What the hell are you on about? Clearly you don't understand much about modeling, or at least polygons. A polyon = a triangle. Simple as that. A map modeled with quads will be converted to triangles when it's exported. People use quads mainly because they're just easier to work with than triangles, when essentially it's just 2 triangles forming a quad, with the diagonal line hidden.
No, just be patient and learn the tools first. if you want to be a good mapper learn how to model efficiently. do every modeling tutorial you can find.
Modding "Teams" are overrated and just a big cluster f*ck. well most of them, especially when the only way to communicate is with text.
