H2V on XP?

Huh, digging around on the net I've got Halo 2 running on XP, logged into Live and all, but can only play the first three sections before it tells me I must activate the game. I did put my key code in when I first logged into my Live account, but obviously that isn't enough and I"m at a loss as to find information on how to fully activate the game on XP if it can be done at all.

Someone wanted some framerates. This is on an AMD 64 s754 3200+, 1gb ram, 6800gt, at stock.

1680x1050




low fps, but still feels smooth compared to playing it on Vista, with a faster card. Hacks.


Also worth mentioning-

The mouse lag is totaly gone. Was nearly unplayable because of it in Vista. (using Razer Copperhead)

Some shadows don't seem to show up, and the ambient lighting of some of the cutscenes are really dark, where as they were bright on vista.

1GB ram still has some aweful stuttering in the cutscenes while its loading stuff, so it won't be any better in XP compared to Vista for those of you with 1GB.

Game is stable so far, changing resolutions and taking screenshots has not crashed it.

Highest in game, just no AA. I havn't even tried AA yet, but if its like Vista at all, it will be like a 5-fps hit only.
