Misuse a weapon meant to kill people by killing with it?

Seriously though, if a weapon is there it is meant to be used - even if its a rocket launcher. If someone is constantly doing the same thing, then learning to deal with it is the only way; adapt, kill him when he goes for ammo, prevent him from getting there, camp the RL spawn, make sure a teammate always grabs it, etc.

Does it take much skill to kill with an RL? In most cases no, but if you can't adapt or change your playing style to suite the situation at hand, then you're not much of a player and you can expect to keep losing to the same things. If it seems "overpowered" you either; 1, Have deficient skills to counter it, or 2, its a gameplay oversight of bungie and/or the map designer.

As for the guide, its a good idea but the random pubber doesn't care about sportsmanship because of the anonomity of the internet. Therefore the only reliable solution is an active admin who can kick/ban repeat offenders.

Jedimas, I acknowledge that you're trying to help, but you have not succeeded. It may be in your best interest to lock this thread.

The things you stated in your guide can make things a bit more peaceful, yes, but they will not always work, especially in clan servers. And a lot of us don't mean what we say when we insult those who killed us.

I would not consider what you wrote to be a real guide. It's more like a bushido that people follow only in a certain Halo clan.

It's not likely that you're going to change those morons anyway, just ignore them or own them with logic and common sense until they shut up.

Or own them with a counter for their weapon:
    Rocket Launcher---Sniper Rifle
    Vehicle------------Rocket Launcher
    Sniper Rifle--------Assassination
Fuel Rod Gun------Seriously, who noobs with the Fuel Rod?
Flamer------------Any weapon that is not close range
Shotgun----------"Any weapon that isn't close range"

whats even more fun is getting a sightjacked fraps video of a botter getting his ass handed to him by skilled players, then posting it on something like youtube and sending him the link.

or being accused of botting and then them saying "you were jumping and locking on" when they sightjacked you, and you werent botting at all.....

Seriously though, I play Snow Grove with botters, and I still kick their ass's. Just crouch, and use a sniper to pop them while they are trying to figure out why they cant hit you......
